2011/12/10: The inaugural SGBA Awards Ceremony was held last night at the Wanderers. The committee would like to thank all those who attended for their support. Thanks also go to Nico Meerholz for his speech on the history of the province and where he thinks we should be focusing. The list of the winners can be found here.

2011/11/18: The Southerns AGM was held last night. Avril Tudhope, Nico Meerholz and Owen Kerr were confirmed as Life Members. Congratulations to you and thank you for all your hard work and commitment over the many years. The Executive Committee was elected. Click here for the positions held.

2011/11/01: Congratulations to the Woodroffe B side who won the B section at this year's SA Woodroffe tournament hosted down in East London! The A side came a close 3rd with only 4 points separating them from victory!

2011/10/15: Congratulations to the SGBA A side who shared the Melvill trophy this year for the B section. And very well done to the B side who won the C section at the same tournament!

2011/08/31: Congratulations to the SGBA Vets teams who posted good results in the recent SA Vets tournament in Durban:

2011/08/24: Congratulations to Prakash Vijayanath and the rest of his SA U19 team who beat Mauritius 3-1 in the All Africa U19 Finals! Well done champs!!

2011/05/07: Team South Africa successfully defended their title of All Africa Champs in Morocco! Congratulations!!

2011/05/06: The SGBA Masters travel to Cape Town tomorrow to take part in the SA Masters tournament. Bon voyage and good luck!

2011/05/06: South Africa has won their first 2 matches in the Africa Championships Team Event by beating the hosts Morocco 4-1 and the Seychelles 5-0!

2011/04/08: Gautumi Bhat was graded 5th overall at the recent SA U15s! Congratulations!!

2011/04/07: Prakash Vijayanath has been selected for the 2016 Olympics training squad! Congratulations!!
